T-Shirt Issue

Unfortunately, very soon before we began our mailout process, we were told that the  vendor we have been using for printing declared bankruptcy and closed their facility completely. We immediately had to secure our shirts and find an alternative printer, but in the process lost several weeks of production. This meant that we were not able to include the t-shirt you ordered in your packet mailout. However, we have 3 options for you to pick up your shirt – at the Expo (all races), before the 5K (5K runners only), or after the 10 Mile (10 Mile and Double Blossom runners). Remember, All you need for any of these options is your bib or confirmation email showing what shirt you ordered. You will not need to wait in the bib pick-up lines; you can report directly to the t-shirt pick-up tables.

Option #1: Expo pick-up for 10 Mile, 5K and Double Blossom entrants: Although many of you ordered the Packet Mail Out Option because it was inconvenient for you to attend the Expo, you may pick up your shirt(s) for the 10 Mile, Double Blossom or 5K at our Health and Fitness Expo Presented by Wegmans at the National Building Museum. The Expo will be open during these times:

    • Friday, April 10, 1:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
    • Saturday, April 11, 9:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Option #2: 5K On-site pick-up for 5K entrants only: If you are running the 5K, you can pick up your 5K shirt before the race at the 5K staging area in Virginia Highlands Park in Arlington, VA. Note: If you are running the Double Blossom, you must pick-up all of your shirts either at the Expo or after the 10 Mile. No Double Blossom shirts will be available at the 5K on-site pick-up.

    • Saturday, April 11, 6:30 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.

Option #3: 10 Mile On-site pick-up for 10 Mile and Double Blossom entrants: If you are running the 10 Mile or Double Blossom, you can pick up your 10 Mile or Double Blossom shirts AFTER the race in a designated tent in the finish area near the medals. The tent will be labeled “PMO” (for “Packet Mail Outs”). Volunteers will be ready to distribute your shirt(s) before you leave the race.

    • Sunday, April 12, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
