Waitlist for 10 Mile and Double Blossom Entry

The Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile, Double Blossom and 5K will use a Waitlist system for the first time this year (the Waitlist for the 5K will only open after registration for the 5K has filled).

10 Mile and Double Blossom: Use the link below to sign up for the Waitlist for the 10 Mile or for the Double Blossom (there are separate Waitlists for each race; you may only sign up for 1 Waitlist. When a person is accepted from a Waitlist, that person will be able to register for the race that they requested plus a $20 waitlist fee.

5K: The 5K process will operate exactly as described above for the 10 Mile/Double Blossom, except the process and the Waitlist will not open until the 5K field has been filled and registration has been closed.

If you are accepted off the Waitlist, you will pay a $20 transfer fee as well as the prevailing registration fee for your race.

 Important Notes

The Wait List is DIFFERENT from our TRANSFER option. The Wait List process is for anyone who does NOT know someone who wants to transfer their registration directly. The Wait List will only be open until our transfer capacity is reached; the latest it will close is February 28. If you already know someone who can transfer their registration to you, please use this process and do not join the waitlist. Transfers will be possible beginning February 2, 2026. Keep in Mind: Every year, there are many more people seeking an entry than those willing to give them up. For that reason, we expect that only a fraction of the people who sign up for the Wait List will receive an entry. If you really want an entry for this year, or want to be able to avoid not getting in next year, you may want to consider signing up to be a Charity Entrant (that process opens in late January after the Lottery results have been disseminated and would give you an entry to the 2026 race) or Volunteering for this year’s event, which would give you a guaranteed entry (at prevailing fees) for the 2027 event. You might also try to locate someone willing to give up their entry to you by posting on a neighborhood or running club listserv or asking at your gym.
