About the Expo

The 2027 Health & Fitness Expo Presented by Wegmans will offer packet pick-up, a full slate of exhibitors, and a Wellness Stop inside the National Building Museum.

Getting Inside

Note: To ease traffic flow, please note that there are TWO entrances to the Building Museum:

    • F Street entrance should be used by 10 Mile participants and Volunteers
    • G Street entrance is for 5K, Kids Run and Double Blossom participants.

There will be signage and people to direct you to the proper entrance for the packet you are picking up. If you are running the 10 Mile and have a child running the Kids Run, you can use either entrance (if you go to the F Street entrance, get your 10 Mile packet first, then follow the signage to the Kids Run packet pickup; if you go to the G Street entrance, pick up the Kids Run packet first, then proceed to the 10 Mile packet pickup).

We are finalizing maps that will show you which door of the National Building Museum you should use depending on which race you are running and where to go once you are inside the National Building Museum. Those maps will be posted here when they become available.

What's Inside

The 2027 Health and Fitness Expo Presented by Wegmans will offer packet pick-up, a full slate of exhibitors, and a Wellness Stop inside the National Building Museum. Once you enter the Expo, follow the signs for packet pickup for your race, and collect your bib and your t-shirt(s). Once that task is done, you can explore all the exhibitors in the Expo at your leisure. The Health and Fitness Expo will feature the latest shoes and gear from ASICS and other vendors to fill all your running gear needs, and a chance to pick up official Credit Union Cherry Blossom apparel and merchandise. A map of all the Expo Exhibitors will be posted here when it becomes available.

What Is the Best Time to Go to the Expo?

Click Here for a graphic of Predicted Expo Traffic, which can show you when we expect the busiest, moderate, and least busy times to be at this year's expo. You can also check out our postings on Social Media for live updates of how busy things are looking.

Wellness Stop

The Wellness Stop is an interactive, resource-rich destination within the Expo, located in the auditorium. Participants can connect with PR coaching staff and race ambassadors to ask questions and explore fitness-focused products and services from participating vendors.

Donate Your Used Running Shoes at the Expo

In the U.S., 200 million pairs of shoes and sneakers end up in landfills each year. They languish there for 30-40 years before decomposing, and emit harmful chemicals into the soil and air in the process. We will be bringing back our popular shoe donation program this year to help your shoes avoid this fate. Just bring your running shoes with you to packet pick up and drop them off at our shoe donation booth at the Expo. From there, our partner Potomac River Running will give them a new life. Please note that shoe recycling will be available at the Expo only, not on site at the 5K or 10 Mile.

Getting There

By Metro

Metro will be open for getting to the Expo on Friday and Saturday. The National Building Museum is easily accessible by Metro. The Judiciary Square Metro stop is across the street from the main entrance to the National Building Museum and is served by the Red Line. Use of Metro is strongly encouraged.

Bike Parking

Thanks to Bike Valet DMV, there will be 5 bike racks (capacity 30 bikes) at the F Street Entrance and 5 bike racks (capacity 30 bikes) at the G Street Entrance for bike parking at the Expo. Bring your own lock. The bike racks will be available from 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10 until 6:00 pm and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 11. Scooters will be accepted as well. This service is free to race participants. A reservation link will be posted here when it becomes available.

Parking

There is limited on-street parking in the vicinity of the National Building Museum. Available parking will be influenced greatly by other activities taking place nearby (the Verizon Center is very close). Parking meters are enforced on both Friday and Saturday (at rates up to $2.00 an hour), so bring lots of quarters if you plan to use on-street parking.

Reserve Parking with SpotHero

We recommend booking convenient and affordable parking in advance through SpotHero, the nation's leading parking reservations app.

To reserve your parking spot for the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Expo, visit the National Building Museum SpotHero Parking Page.

Paid parking may also be available in other nearby commercial parking lots. Rates are likely to be in the $15-$20 range. Be sure to check the hours of the commercial lots. Some of them close early. Think Metro.
