Picking Up Your Medal at the Race

In order to keep our race registration fees low, we do not give medals to all finishers. If you would like to receive a medal when you finish the race, you may purchase a standard medal when you register for $15. We also offer an enhanced medal for $23. The enhanced medal consists of the standard medal that you pick up after your race plus a strip that we will mail to you in May with your finish time and place on it, which you can attach to the back of your standard medal. NOTE: If you order a medal (whether standard or enhanced), you should pick it up at the finish line of whichever race you run. If you order the Enhanced Medal, your strip with your finish time and place will be mailed to you after the race. If you order a Double Blossom medal, you will pick that up in the infield near the 10 Mile finish line.

Ordering Medals and T-Shirts

Want to Buy an Upgrade Shirt or Medal? If you didn’t order an upgrade shirt and now want one, you will be able to purchase one at the Expo. Medals will not be offered for purchase at the race. Two weeks after the race, we also usually offer leftover upgrade shirts and medals for sale on the CUCB Merchandise Store for those who did not pre-order an upgrade shirt and/or medal but would like to purchase those items post-race. (Note: enhanced medals cannot be purchased after the race).

Didn’t Order an Upgrade Shirt, Medal or Something Else at Registration but Now Want One? After the lottery is over, from December 20 – February 28, if you decide you want to order an upgrade shirt, a medal, a packet mailout, or a carbon offset, you can do so through your Race Roster Account. Just follow the steps below:

1. 1. Visit the post registration store here: https://raceroster.com/store/72646/listing 
   2. Sign into your Race Roster account in the top right menu 
   3. Click “view details” on the item you’re looking to purchase 
   4. Select the registration you would like to apply it to 
   5. Select the item and click “add to cart” 

Continue to add items until you are ready to check out, then click the cart & follow the instructions given to check out. This option has closed.

Didn’t Pick up Your Packet at the Expo? If you don’t make it to the race on race weekend and so don’t pick up your packet, at most two weeks after the races on April 5 (5K) or April 6 (10 Mile), we will post information here for those who pre-ordered t-shirts and/or medals for the 2025 race but were unable to pick them up (you will have the opportunity to have those mailed to you for a $15 shipping plus $2 service fee). We will also offer an Open House at our race office in Bethesda where people can pick up their packets post-race free of charge. Details on both those options will not be posted until after the races.
