Are You a Runner with a Flair for Social Media and Enthusiasm for the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile & 5K? Apply to be a Race Ambassador!

The Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile & 5K is looking for four runners to join the CUCB Race Ambassador team for the 2026 race on April 11-12, 2026! These individuals will be telling the world all about their race experiences on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and personal blogs. Interested? Race Ambassador Perks:

  • Entry into the 2026 Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile, 5K or both (the Double Blossom) 
  • Running gear from CUCB 2026 Apparel Sponsor ASICS
  • Upgraded race t-shirt and enhanced race medal
  • Enrollment in In-Person Potomac River Running (PRR) Training Program or ASICS Virtual Training Program (fee waived)
  • Invitation to special events during race weekend for you and a guest

Race Ambassador Obligations:

  • Share your CUCB training experiences, thoughts on your complimentary running gear, and recap your race on your personal social media platforms (2-3 posts per week)
  • Maintain public viewability of your preferred social media platform where you will be posting CUCB-related content
  • Host a “takeover” event on our Instagram stories leading up to race weekend
  • Participate in either the ASICS Virtual Training or In-Person PRR Training (fee waived)
  • Run the CUCB 5K on Saturday, April 10, or the 10 Mile on Sunday, April 11, or both races (the Double Blossom)!
  • And, most importantly, share your experiences on social media in the months leading up to the race.
